Carpenters have an old adage ... "Measure twice, cut once". This mindful advice can also be applied when furnishing your home particularly when purchasing artwork, wall panels or any type of wall décor for that matter. Online shopping can be fun and extremely convenient but sometimes we can be left holding our breath wondering if the item is going to fit nicely in the space we've chosen to display it.
The most common issue we hear from customers is simply, the item I ordered is beautiful, but unfortunately it's too large for my space. When researching and browsing multiple product 4 x 6 images online we can easily lose sight of the fact that once the item arrives it's going to be the full sized version of that scaled down online photo. Take time to measure your space and try to envision not only how the piece might look once displayed , but how the functionality, mobility and flow of the room might change once the item arrives.
